Central Mineral and Environmental Resources Science Center
The Central Mineral and Environmental Resources Science Center (CMERSC) conducts scientific investigations to support the USGS Mineral Resources Program and the Program's Five-Year Plan to provide world-class earth science research and data for policy and decision makers, land managers, other federal and state agencies, and other users of our information. The CMERSC research supports the following Mineral Resources Program goals:
